Lake Bracciano is one of the major lakes of Italy in the region of Lazio, and a relatively unknown gem. Lake Bracciano is a volcanic lake where it is possible to canoe, scuba-dive, sail and much more (especially during hot summertime days, when a dip in the lake can be most refreshing). The town is alongside the lake, you may want to stop for some lunch in one of the local restaurants or take a leisurely stroll. Drive there in 20 minutes from Borgo. If you have time, drive the full loop and explore all the medieval towns around the lake.

There are two courses nearby - Parco De' Medici Golf Club and Olgiata Golf Club - you can contact them directly on their websites. Let the Borgo know at check-in if you have booked and they can arrange taxis.

Book a day-trip to Rome the day after the wedding for some sightseeing or shopping. Transfers/transport options can be organised by the venue.
